"APScilloscope" software

We developed “APScilloscope” especially for viewing Comtrade files. This software has a tool for visualization of parameters for post-accident analysis, with relation to the FABT work. 
APScilloscope” software includes a unique option - “Calculator”. It allows to demonstrate operating principles of relay protection and automation devices.
The software also displays values in the vector, locus and frequency diagrams. 
These features are useful for RPEA adjusting and professionals training.
User can shape any signal sets and save it in a configuration file for further use. List of available configurations is displayed in a separate subwindow.

Basic software features:


  • viewing of instantaneous, root-mean-square and first harmonic values of all or certain channels;

  • combining signals on the time scale;


  • discrete signal path viewing;

  • displaying of  circular (locus) diagrams (the path of the end of vector in complex plane);

  • viewing of frequency diagrams;

  • specifying and reading (derivation) of transformer ratio;

  • setting of extra values and features (sequence, resistance, power, etc.);

  • The software includes the variety of already prepared functions;

  • creating user signals of any complexity by the “Calculator” tool;

  • spectral analysis of all measured and calculated signals of the system;

  • saving your option set for oscillogram viewing;

  • preview and printing of oscillograms, vector and locus diagrams and automatic reports;

“APScilloscope” has a tool set for creating signals, represented by user-defined complicated arithmetic expressions. By default, the soft contains common expressions for phase-sequence components.
Measured analog or discrete signal as well as user-defined signal can be used as a component of calculated signals. User-defined signals also can be displayed at the signal window or at the any type of diagrams.
Vector diagram shows fixed position of vectors for the timepoint chosen by user. Shifting the vertical cursor user can change the timepoint at the diagram. The table under the diagram contains values of vectors for chosen and fixed time. 
Locus diagram also displays fixed vector values at the timepoint chosen by user. The table under the diagram contains calculated difference of vectors for chosen and fixed time. 
Analysis of distance protection operation can be carried out using parameters of common relays from presets. For such relays, operating characteristics can be displayed at the complex plane in the form of locus diagrams. characteristics.
